Word of the Week for November 9th

Another election cycle has come and gone this past week. In about 70 days our country will be under the leadership of our President-elect Barack Obama. This past week has been interesting to hear the different comments being made about whose campaign did a better job of getting out the vote, who picked the right running mate, etc, etc, etc.

Listening to all of the discussion made me so glad that when I decided to give my life to Christ, I put my trust in the ONE who holds my future in His hands. There is no debate about what Christ did for me when He died on the cross. There is no debate about what my future holds. There is no fear or uncertainty in my faith. So after I left the ballot box, I gave thanks for the freedom to choose my candidate of choice, but to also give thanks for the stability I have in Christ!

Have a great week!
