Last week was report card week for the kids at school in Grandview. I got to thinking about what a report card really means. It is an opportunity for the teacher to evaluate the students’ growth over a six week period in areas like reading, math, science and social studies.
As I was looking at my own kids’ report cards, I found myself thinking about my spiritual report card. What if God issued report cards for our spiritual life? How would I be doing if God evaluated my quiet time, spiritual discipline, attitude, witnessing . . . I think I might be a little nervous to see how I have done. How about you?
