This is one of my favorite weeks of the year. I absolutely love Thanksgiving week! On Thursday I will sit down with my family and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. After lunch I will loosen my belt, recline on the couch and watch the Cowboys play football while waiting for the Longhorns and Aggies to play that evening. Can it get any better than that?
We will have stuffed ourselves with turkey, dressing, football and family this week, but by Sunday many of us will say, “I have had enough!” I know I will be ready to get back to a normal routine.
That is the exact opposite of how I want to feel about my relationship with Christ. I want to stuff myself with His Word and get to know Him better. We should never have “enough” when it comes to our relationship and calling from our Lord. I hope you will join me in stuffing ourselves with Christ!
