Today is a huge day in the life of FBC Grandview! Not only are we going to be voting on calling Les Williams to be our new student minister, but it is also the night our committees will meet to elect chairmen and budget and finance representatives.
I love the fact that as individual members of this church, we all have equal say in what goes on in the ministry of the church. We get to vote and we have the opportunity to serve on committees that do the work in the life of the church! I am glad you are here this morning to vote, and I hope you will make it a priority to be here tonight at either 5:00 or 5:30, if you are serving on a committee for the 2010-2011 church year!
