How about a little challenge to start the month of July? There are all types of challenges…there are easy challenges and there are difficult challenges. This is really a pretty easy one.
I want to challenge you to pick out two individuals or families in our church family to check on each week. Give them a call or a quick visit and see how they are doing. Let them know it was good to see them at church or tell them you missed seeing them if they were not here. Connection is a big part of the life of the church.
I don’t know about you, but I like it when people are concerned about me. I like to know when I am not in attendance somewhere I am missed. A simple phone call or card in the mail is all it will take. Will you give 5 minutes to show you care?
