This week I am going to turn 38! I know that does not sound very old to some of you, but for me it means I am only two years away from 40! I am starting to notice the gray and white hairs in my goatee and in the sides of my hair. They say that shows wisdom. I am not so sure about that!
With birthdays come questions… have I bettered myself this year? Have I attained the goals I had for myself? I think these are good questions to ask ourselves both on an everyday activity basis but also in a spiritual sense. How are you doing? Are you still committed to reading the Bible everyday like you said you would in January? Are you working to be a better husband or wife, mom or dad, son or daughter? Just a reminder . . . as Christians we should constantly be seeking to be better for the Father!
